Favicon not updating

I downloaded the favicons from favicon.io and placed them in the static/directory. However, the favicon is not updating locally or on github pages after deployment. Do I need to do something else? |

Ok, my bad, firefox caches favicons so I just had to clear the cached web content in firefox settings. |
