Hi,

it would be nice it the mb2md script could be installed via pypi and pip.

These are just scripts that I have found useful. mb2md doesn't depend on any non-standard modules, so I don't see any advantage to this. You're welcome to contribute a patch if you'd like.

... then it would need a own github repo. I can create a patch, if you provide the repo.

I did some looking around for an existing repository and have found lots of repositories with the perl version, but none with the python version. I haven't been using it much in the past few years. How about I pass it off to you and then I'll point my admin-scripts repo at the repository that you setup and maintain?

.. I am unsure, since I am sometimes offline for weeks. I guess I would be a bad maintainer.

That's OK, I haven't made changes in years. I wouldn't call myself the
maintainer as I have just kept a copy in a place that I can find it.
