We're hitting performance problems with the expandable plugin on mobile devices - older iPhones, Android, webOS. Anything that can be done to help would be appreciated - right now we can't really use it.

This seems to be working in its place. Might need some additional logic, but it seems to work well across my desktop and mobile test browsers.
