There are 2 jquery mobile feature requests in the following release.

  1. Full support for fixed toolbars on BB OS6 dan BB OS5
Once I tried to 1.2.0 Alpha version, this feature is not yet supported. (I Used BB OS6).
  2. Additional features on the Header and Footer menu that can scroll to the left and right as it is owned by UberTwitter. It will look better if the application has a lot of menus, and not look stiff only in the footer

Re 1. fixed toolbars: see here http://jquerymobile.com/test/docs/toolbars/bars-fixed.html how you can have fixed toolbars on platforms that don't support position: fixed;.

Re 2.: Do you mind adding your request with a link to this ticket here https://github.com/jquery/jquery-mobile/wiki/Feature-Requests?

Blackberry OS6 indeed support this feature, but very slow and subtle shift in the header and footer. My point is the response of these features are not as computer browser. If I use a blackberry to open a page that uses this feature, so if you do Scrolling to the bottom or top of the page header and footer will be late a few seconds to adjust its position and it looks very disturbing in the browser screen.
It is the intent of my request number 1. That does not look good on screen blackberry, the results of this feature.

And also after a scroll on the page that uses this feature, the position of the movement of the page footer after adjusting very well, but not the header position. Where the position of the header will stop at the header icon (when header have the home and search icon like a jquery mobile demo page). I mean the header does not return 100% to the starting position when page is first load.

The first issue has to do with how the browser handles fixed positioned elements and there is not much we can do about that.

Regarding the second problem, it's not completely clear what you mean by "stop at the header icon". Do you mean there is space between the fixed header and the top of the page? Or does the header height and/or width change as well?
Can you open a new issue for this and maybe include a screenshot? Thanks!

I am closing this ticket as a feature request. We reopen when we decide to work on the horizontal scrollable feature you requested.
