auto select the Polygon Tool upon clicking '+' for new annotation

Feature Request:
It would be helpful if the polygon tool (or brush or magic wand--which ever the user had most recently used) were automatically selected upon clicking the '+' button to add a new annotation.

Interestingly, it does behave this way if the 'P' key was pressed to select the Polygon tool, but not if the button was clicked to select the Polygon tool...
