Well, I think I should add a command-line argument e.g. --monstercat, but you can pull it if you wish.

EDIT: Oh, don't forget to remove "CW's fork" from README.md

looks good. I have been looking for some thing along the path of this. I guess as a spectrum analyzer this is kinda making it less precise. But as i mention in the readme this program is not intended for scientific use.

I'll pull it for now. Maybe i will make an optional "scientific mode" later, with dB and frequency indicators and all that stuff. But there is a lot of things on the wishlist and no time.

@karlstav I'm working on other improvements for cava. It's the first audio visualizer for GNU/Linux which I don't hate.
