This URL-shortener App enables a user to add links to a page that generates shortened URLs.

Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

• Node.js
• Mix
• Elixir

Installing

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/kennethteh90/phoenix-url-shortener.git

To start your Phoenix server:

• Install dependencies with mix deps.get
• Create and migrate your database with mix ecto.create && mix ecto.migrate
• Install Node.js dependencies with cd assets && npm install
• Start Phoenix endpoint with mix phx.server

Now you can visit localhost:4000 from your browser.
