Cancel don't work in most of the time

Bug Description

when i see the response is not what i expected, i would like to cancel the process immediately. but the cancel button doesn't work in most of the time. i have no choice but waiting the agent output all the useless information

Steps to Reproduce

1. chat with kiro
2. usually have more 5 rounds conversations.
3. click the buttion 'cancel' when i see something is not what i expected
4. nothing happend, output will contine until finish all of them

Expected Behavior

output should be stopped when i click the 'cancel' button, not matter how many conversation we have

CRITICAL, agent continues to make changes even if Cancel is pressed, or you ask it to stop. asking to stop just makes another copy of agent running, instead of pausing current. only closing IDE and reverting ALL CHANGES works.

now instead of Cancel, I have to close IDE to prevent any changes to files

THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!

I don't know how this still isn't fixed. Clicking the cancel button has no effect at all on actually stopping it from containing to edit.
