Evopedia is discontinued since a long time
Pros :

  • It would reduce the amount of code to maintain
  • It might allow the unit tests to work on Chromium/Chrome (it currently does not allow the webworker, which is only used by the Evopedia backend). But it might not be the only issue : see Unit tests do not all work on Chromium/Chrome #131
    Cons :
  • It would prevent the use of the geolocation feature, which would make it harder to implement in ZIM files later
