This is a simple "carto-map" project to get your own mapping tool and will allow you to contribute to open sourced projects like Open Street Map with ease.

--

ACTUAL STATES : STEP 1 "ease the search and retrieve data to render"

"Done" features:

  • fetch https tiles from OSM/Esri/CartoDb provide OSM data, satellite and simple black view.
  • find places or path in https query.
  • Weather Stations are provided by "WeeWxStation" mostly served from personal Raspberry Pi.

NEXT STEPS:

  • ease contribution and fetch more data in a more persistent and personalize way.
  • working on konnectors.
  • organize manage mapping tool and data

Working on (see developer branch):

  • Get an access to Amenity from OSM and contribute/update nodes.
  • Fetch earthquake data provided by usgs.gov (updated every 15 minutes).
  • Wiki and user guide.

Because sometimes contribute is the only thing we can do.
