https://kubernetes.io/docs/reference/command-line-tools-reference/kubelet/ says:

--event-qps int32     Default: 5
QPS to limit event creations. The number must be >= 0. If 0 will use default QPS (5). (DEPRECATED: This parameter should be set via the config file specified by the Kubelet's --config flag. See https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/administer-cluster/kubelet-config-file/ for more information.)

Please explain what the abbreviation QPS stands for.

This issue should be filed against the code for the kubelet, because that's where the original text lives:

fs.Int32Var(&c.EventRecordQPS, "event-qps", c.EventRecordQPS, "QPS to limit event creations. The number must be >= 0. If 0 will use DefaultQPS: 5.")

https://kubernetes.io/docs/reference/command-line-tools-reference/kubelet/ is automatically generated.

This bot triages issues and PRs according to the following rules:

  • After 90d of inactivity, lifecycle/stale is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/stale was applied, lifecycle/rotten is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/rotten was applied, the issue is closed

You can:

  • Mark this issue or PR as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale
  • Mark this issue or PR as rotten with /lifecycle rotten
  • Close this issue or PR with /close
  • Offer to help out with Issue Triage

Please send feedback to sig-contributor-experience at kubernetes/community.
