0777 is a bit too permissive: 0644 for files and 0744 for directories should be enough.
rw for directories doesn't mean much, it's the x important (i.e. allows a user to cd into it.)

0777 for everything is too permissive, so I adjusted to 0644 for files and 0744 for directories.
