As agreed we will skip this version and wait for developments upstream with controller-runtime. Since we are expecting more API changes we plan to tackle all at once. |

Updates controller-runtime from 0.21.0 to 0.22.0. In 0.2.0,
client.Applyhas been deprecated. Replaced it's usage based on the examples in https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/controller-runtime/pull/3253/files#diff-2dad64e28ce5e2eddf0adf303052d38e3b5b4fcba6b32fc4ca26d5e4d6b8fa4aR863-R956Was not able to replace it's usage for the Status subresource as it is not yet available on "SubResourceWriter". See linked issue in the nolint comment.
