Registration

1. You will register here: REDACTED UNTIL DRAFT
2. Use your league name used in the captains.csv attached below (it's the one you registered with, this is in case you changed it recently).
3. Use a team name that is unique and original. If you copy someone else's team, you suck and we will be forced to redo the registration process for everyone.
4. After you register, you will be given further instruction.

Draft (prereq: you should be registered)

1. Go to REDACTED UNTIL DRAFT
2. If you see the name as "Connecting...", let BD or Sean know. This usually means you registered late, and everyone has to refresh their client (sorry, Sean is a bad developer)
3. You should see your team name and points at the top.

Instructions:

• You will see "Currently waiting to bid on..PLAYER_NAME" whenever a new captain logs in (it lets them know where we are at).

• When the admin starts a round, you will see: "The round has started, LET THE BIDDING BEGIN". When this occurs, you can do the following:

  • If no one has bid anything, you can bid 0.
  • You can input the bid you want, then press bid. If it is lower than the current bid (which rapidly updates), your bid will not be used.
  • You can press +1 to add 1 to the current bid (if you have enough points). This can be surprisingly to some people, because this isn't +1 when you submit, it is +1 of the current bid, so you will ALWAYS outbid the current bidder.
  • +5 works the same as +1, except.. it add 5.

• After 10 seconds without anyone bidding, a countdown timer will start, it looks like this: "4 seconds remaining..."

• You can still bid in this time, and it will restart the timer back to 15 seconds. PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THIS. Shit takes hours if you needlessly abuse the system like this, and no one wants to stay up until 2 am doing a draft.

• After you see this message: "CAPTAIN bought PLAYER for POINTS", there is no more bidding on that player anymore. The draft will pause until the admin starts the next round of bidding.

Useful additional information

Remaining Captains Points will tell you all the current amount of points a captain has to bid with. It will be updated every round.

The Current Player pane has the following information:

IGN, Preferred Roles and scores, and LKS + Proficiency. Preferred roles and sorted based on what the player put down when they registered. If the top entry is "Jungle: 10", it means Jungle is their top preferred role, and the 10 points is a score that Drew cooked up based on previous games played under that role.

In the future players pane, it shows the IGN, and a list of preferred roles, sorted from "most wanted" to least wanted. It's what the player put on the survey. You won't see their proficiency score until they are up for bidding.
