This project aims 1. to establish a first-of-its-kind Chilean language dataset for NLU training and evaluation 2. benchmark underperformance of LLMs on Chilean Spanish and 3. apply known dialect adaptation techniques from English language to Chilean Spanish in the hopes of constructing an open source model
