It is designed as a companion tool to help writing QEMU OpenTitan device, running the very same
binaries as QEMU and compare the outcome of each simulation environment.

Now support EarlGrey and Darjeeling platforms

LGTM - I haven't checked everything very thoroughly but it looks like a good improvement at a glance.

"Any" may lead to issues with Python linter, such as Any not being iterable.

It should be easier to name all artifacts with the same base name,
rather than to specify each of them on the command line.
