I am using gentle on ubuntu 14.04. I ran the command "sudo ./install.sh" for installing gentle. Afterwards, I had three new folders on my gentle directory: 1. exp/, 2. ext/k3, 3.ext/m3
Running a 'make' in ext/ directory, clearly shows : make: Nothing to be done for `all'
Afterwards when I run 'python serve.py', I get this error.

File "serve.py", line 4, in <module>
    from twisted.internet import reactor, threads
  File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/twisted/internet/reactor.py", line 38, in <module>
    from twisted.internet import default
  File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/twisted/internet/default.py", line 56, in <module>

Gentle supports Python 2 right?

Seems to be a PyOpenSSL issue. Try:

sudo pip install -U pyOpenSSL

(see scrapy/scrapy#2473)

Sorry for late replying.
I installed pyOpenSSL, as you said.
Now when I run python serve.py, the server runs, but on giving some audio and transcription, result is not coming. I gave the data present in examples directory as input.
Server's output:

INFO:root:gentle 0.10.1
INFO:root:listening at 0.0.0.0:8765

INFO:root:SERVE 8765, 0.0.0.0, 1
INFO:root:about to listen
INFO:root:listening
Unhandled error in Deferred:

Also, when I am running the command, * python align.py examples/data/lucier.mp3 examples/data/lucier.txt*, I am getting this error:

INFO:root:converting audio to 8K sampled wav
