Build Your Own Self-Hosted Live Streaming Application (Owncast + .NET Aspire)

This sample application provides a working sample of a self-hosted live streaming application powered by Owncast and orchestrated by .NET Aspire.

Quick Start

The easiest way to get started is to open this repository in Codespaces and follow the instructions for running the application below.

Prerequisites

• .NET Aspire. For more details, see the .NET Aspire setup documentation.
• Docker
• Visual Studio or VS Code

Start application

1. Navigate to the BYOwncastAspire/BYOwncastAspire.AppHost directory.

2. Open the terminal and enter the following command

   dotnet run
