There isn't a way to install it from YaST sadly

Of course there is. Under the patterns section.
And from cli via zypper in -t patern lxde
.
It can also be selected as the only DE to install when you use the netinst iso.

openSUSE is missing.
I don't think openSUSE fits in that category, I intended it for distributions that come with LXDE on a live image or can be installed from the installer. |

Hey, I noticed the text on the website was a tad clunky, I rewrote most of the main page. Hope this is alright!
