Reindex from shell

Hello,

Are we going to have the ability to reindex using shell like before?

If not, I would like to request making it possible to reindex using the command line.

Or is the manual index management being revamped which can handle the request from the backend without timing out? I seen the new index management section and I am assuming this will run via cron to handle those situations.

If that is the case, I think being able to reindex via shell is still necessary.
