Abandoned cart emails only sent who abandoned the cart

Steps to reproduce

#Step1: Install the latest extension using composer on Magento2.2.5 and PHP7.0
#Step2: Configure the MailChimp for abandoned cart emails set every one hour
#Step3: Configure the Magento extension to send abandoned cart emails
#Step3: Add items to cart and place the order
#Step4: Added items are synced to the abandoned cart email queue and received the email

Expected result

Email should only be sent if the order is not placed
