It is prototype software, but it might be noted that Apple was not consistent on the Yellow Box name. Sometimes it shows up as “YellowBox” and sometimes “Yellow Box”—the latter is printed on the CD-ROM label.

The ibm5170_cdrom software was all tested to work in 86Box. In MAME, the most progress I had was installing rhapsody on the ct486 driver (which is very slow), but I was neither able to get a color video driver working nor get past the login screen, despite that OS installation appears to work.

I think it's pretty useful to read PDF documentation, those are here: https://mega.nz/folder/97lBBKzI#nzM-Y7kGmEzefnj1xt7bFA
No promises on the link staying online, but this doesn't contain the software.

Last time I bothered looking at Rhapsody was in February. iirc the (very convoluted) install phase ends up with a workspace error which roots in ATAPI memes.

Interesting, that's a different point than I got to, and you got a color video driver working :)

Well, there's a reason I've marked them as supported="no", but I do figure if MAME is about preserving software, may as well be in here. PC drivers can be improved after all, it might end up on the working side in the future.

Neat, rhapsody1 isn't giving me the kernel panic on pcipc.
