Highlights:

  • new flexible riser system: stack risers of any height (platform, low, medium, high) by snapping together just a few simple parts. No need to print every different height in advance.

Find the new riser parts and instructions here: stairs_and_risers/plain/README.md

  • improved OpenVLex bases:

    • new geometry with holes for saving material
    • new vertical locking mechanism bars, ready for the new flexible riser system (see above)
  • improved magnetic OpenVLex bases: added round "windows" on the sides to make attraction of spheric magnets stronger

  • improved OpenVLex jacks: the new jack geometry now uses a flexible bridge for making the jack pins more durable and much less prone for breaking with brittle PLA
