Fix Firebase crash reporting in production

We are currently not receiving any crash reports for our in production app. While fixing this we could also look into removing the debug setup shown in the screenshot above to simplify the process.

Should be resolved by #1104. #1104 will go out to Play Store version later this week. Will check back in on this about a month from now to see if crashes in the wild are in fact coming into the Firebase console. If so, I'll consider this resolved and will close this ticket.
