Customizing the view

Max depth
  • This can be used to simplify the view by restricting how deep it will go (counting from the top level).
  • The depth of a wedge also includes any wedges that have collapsed (see below).
  • Max depth changes may not be visible if the max depth is deeper than what can currently be displayed.
Collapse
  • This can be used to simplify the chart by collapsing "redundant" wedges that are entirely composed of another wedge.
Font size
  • Smaller font sizes will be harder to read, but will allow smaller wedges to be shown and can reduce label crowding.
  • Small font sizes can also be useful for snapshots if they will be enlarged (ie for a poster) (see [Taking snapshots]).
