Gapfill, GDPR and personal information

Marcus Green edited this page Mar 12, 2018 · 2 revisions

The Moodle Gapfill question type does not store personal information about users. Information about users attempts at instances of the question type are stored in the Moodle quiz tables which is separate from the question code.

This was commented on by Tim Hunt of the Open University who is the main architect of the Moodle Quiz engine in this public post here https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=365857#p1475202

For this reason I do not believe that Gapfill or any standard Moodle question type needs any update to comply with GDPR requirements. Marcus Green 12 March 2018
