The numbers from the tutorial website were for the refined mesh, while the default mesh density in the tutorial files is very coarse. Please try to refine the mesh and see if you can reproduce the numbers reported on the tutorial website. |

I am also unable to obtain the results shown in the tutorial. Remove the bold command and refine the mesh to only approximate the result.

主题: Re: [mdolab/dafoam] The calculation result of case Onera M6 wing is different from the tutorial result (Discussion #471)
Dear Sir,
I am encountering the same issue. I attempted to refine the mesh by removing the "coarsen" instruction from the pre-processing file, yet I am still unable to match the provided results. Could you please share the mesh parameters that were used to achieve those results? Specifically, I am interested in the values of N, s0, and marchDist, or any other parameters that need modification.
Thank you!

We don't remember the exact N, s0 we used for the M6 tutorial figures. But I suggest you try to use N=60 to 80 and choose s0 such that the y+ is about 30. |

Thank you, I will try the grid settings you suggested.A large number of grids require high memory requirements for computers, and sometimes it is difficult to obtain accurate results
Thank you, I will try the grid settings you suggested

@hxl1310 @jCaudron have you been able to obtain the results mentioned on the website? If yes, kindly share the parameters used to obtain the results. |

I follow the tutorial
./preProcessing.sh
mpirun -np 8 python runScript.py 2>&1 | tee logOpt.txt
The final calculation result is very different from the tutorial.
The tutorial initial drag is 0.016597241 and the optimized drag is 0.013540159 with a drag reduction of 18.4%.
but my calculation result
