Deep Work by Cal Newport #17

Sorry for the late response and thank you in advance for the contribution @swaevior ! This will be the first time someone has contributed their notes to the repo to finish what I have (barely) started. I am excited for it! Also in the notes please ensure to give yourself credit and link to your own repo if you'd like. Cheers! |
@mgp would you like to have more notes by community in this project? |
@mgp Thanks for assigning! On my list for the weekend. @madhur4127, I hope that @mgp would be willing to accept PRs from the community. I have to imagine that all the forks, if aggregated here, would represent a huge boost to everyone's knowledge. This would be an awesome 20% project (or fraction thereof) for lots of people that promises to do a lot of good. 🙏🖤 |
Sorry for the late response. So I never expected people to actually contribute new notes/books to this repository, so this request took me by surprise 😂 After some thought, I'd be very happy to accept contributions by others. I'd like to reserve the right to decline notes for any books that are "objectionable" by my own measure. But I can't really define objectionable and no such books come to mind offhand, so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I'll just know it when I see it. As for attribution, I think I'd just update the README to say something like "these are my notes, with the exception of the following notes that were generously contributed by the following users" and then start a bulleted list of book titles and contributor names that link directly to the notes. Again I'm flattered that you want to contribute, and I want to surface your contributions! |
@swaevior : Did you complete your notes? Would like to have them |
I think the notes for Deep Work is incomplete as of now.
Is there some progress going on?
