In the table hierarchy there is a column named hierarchy_level where hierarchy in the column name is redundant. Simply naming it level is sufficient since the hierarchy context is already given from the table name.

Same in table synonyms. And the tables them-self seam to have also no naming scheme, why are the tables synonyms and definitions in plural and hierarchy in singular?
"hierarchy" defines the hierarchy of the entire partonomy. There is one hierarchy for all of FMA (basically).
