Description

Please, I need help with: https://ofertasdaregi.com.br/p/
Page of tests: https://loja.ofertasdaregi.com.br/ofertas/p/

I’m using the Amazon Auto Links and Auto Amazon Links – WooCommerce Products (Converts unit products to WooCommerce products. Versão 1.0.0 ) in my site. This is importing very well to units, but I have some questions about Amazon Links – WooCommerce Products.

  • Is it possible that the link of the button sending to the product page on Amazon site? In my site the button is sending to cart, because o plugin doesn’t format the product like external/affiliate product, it is formating like simple product (image 3 and 4).

So, I’ need to adjusting it manually in each product. Is it possible to do this ajuste?

Solution

The plugin to format the product imported like a external/affiliate. So, the link of the button to send to the product page on Amazon site and not to send to cart.

Thanks for the suggestion.

It seems to require somewhat a bit of research for me and possibly involves additional UI fields. So the priority will be low unless you provide convincing reasons that explain why this should be added.

Hi, thanks for return.

Well, this is a importante improvement to me. Here (in Brazil) all the affiliate sites work this way. They dont send the customer to cart, but they send the customer to page of site that selling the product. That way, there weren't no reason that the buton to sending the customer to cart. People will not understand this comportament and will leave the site, probably.

So, this is importante reasen to me that justify this improvement.

I will leave here some example of sites (from Brazil) that work like mine.

UI is not implemented yet and with this change it forces the plugin to use this feature at the moment.

Also, this change separates the functionality of setting a custom label into a different component.

@regianesouzaatelie You can try v1.1.0b04. Navigate to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> WooCommerce. There, you'll find options to turn the feature on.

Hi @michaeluno, It worked perfectly, thank you! I have just a doubt:

Now the links are formated very different to configuration inside plugin. Please, se image:

@regianesouzaatelie If tag=associate-tag is in the product URL where associate-tag is your associate tag, then the refferal should work fine.

Hi @michaeluno,
Yes, The button link goes to https://www.amazon.com.br/dp/B078HXMJT9/?tag=ofertasdare06-20, where ofertasdare06-20 is my tag.

Hi @michaeluno, I found a issue. In my site I have products imported by Amazon Auto Links e products typed manualy from other sites I'm affialiate. All these buttons are sending to Amazon site, products imported and products typed from another sites. See image please.

These product is not from Amazon site, but another site. How can I resolve this? The URL field is correct, see:

Sounds like it's better to let WooCommerce handle it then. I'll think of a way to set the products as external when importing.
