This is the first beta release of the OpenGL plugin. It works with josm >= 8670 (so you might need to download josm-latest.jar from the web site).

Unpack the ZIP file to the .josm/plugins directory (it only contains one single jar file)

After installing, activate the plugin in the plugin preferences and press the "Use OpenGL" button.
