Logging calls in the observability core library were using logger.debug(), making telemetry operations invisible at default log levels in production environments.

Changes

  • opentelemetry_scope.py: Changed span lifecycle logging (start/end) from debug to info level
  • agent365_exporter.py: Changed export operation logging (span groups, endpoint resolution, token resolution, HTTP responses) from debug to info level
  • Test files: Updated test assertions to verify info-level logging instead of debug-level

Example

# Before: invisible at default log level
logger.debug(f"Exporting {len(activities)} spans to endpoint: {url}")

# After: visible at default log level
logger.info(f"Exporting {len(activities)} spans to endpoint: {url}")

This provides operators visibility into telemetry export operations without requiring debug log level configuration.
