Loss of Autocompletion?

Just installed this but seem auto completion is gone or lacking.
There's some autocomplete for keywords but none of the variables defined in .ts file
Am I missing something?

Using:
OSX 10.10
Using Sublime Build 3065
Installed this using the package control

Hi @JerryFox1, you'll need to be more explicit about your setup. What OS are you running? What version of Sublime are you using? Did you install from package control?

If it potentially helps, here's part of our README:

Requirements

The plug-in uses Node.js to run the TypeScript server. The plug-in looks for node in the PATH environment variable (which is inherited from Sublime). If the 'node_path' setting is present, this will override the PATH environment variable and the plug-in will use the value of the 'node_path' setting as the node executable to run. See more information in the tips.

I think I've seen the same thing. It actually opens the default completion list and then is swiftly replaced by the typescript suggestions.

I wish mine did that but there is literally no autocomplete at all, apart from defaults.
I did try reinstalling

I'm getting similar behavior to borkxs. But it's also overriding snippets provided by the plugin itself, such as ref for /// <reference...

Just updated Sublime to Build 3103.
Been playing around with typescript for this whole week now. It's pretty annoying if this plugin only gives autocomplete to keywords.

Changing a file's syntax back to javascript brings back the autocomplete

Hey @JerryFox1 , do you have node installed? The plugin relies on node to work.

Regarding the way auto-completion works, it is because we can't suppress the keyword list sublime provides. As the language service was async, we supply a new completion list as soon as we got responses from the server. So it is pretty much by design, and it should be fast enough for common usage.

@Shadowii you can press tab twice to get the snippet working. For example, ref<tab><tab> will give you what you want. This design is because we used to have users who don't use snippets complain about the inconsistent behavior when autocompleting with tab. For example, you may get different results with con<tab> and consol<tab>, when you want console to be inserted in both cases.

That's normal. Can you go to your plugin folder, do the following:

1. open the TypeScript/typescript/libs/global_vars.py file, change the LOG_CONSOLE_LEVEL = logging.WARN to LOG_CONSOLE_LEVEL = logging.DEBUG
2. try editing a .ts file, and post log messages in your console.

Also the other thing is the buffer must be saved to a .ts or .tsx file. If the buffer is unsaved, the plugin won't work.
