The feature is not officially available until TS 2.3, we intend to make breaking changes to how it is implemented in the next period, and it was intentionally placed in TS 2.3. |

PR microsoft/TypeScript#12231 was merged at Feb 15, 2017. And v2.2.1 is tagged at Feb 18, 2017.
So this feature is available with
typescript:^2.2.1, isn't this ?
