With the latest Microsoft.Testing.Extensions.CodeCoverage 18.3.1 package, I think there is some sort of named pipe issue on linux:

Do you have code coverage config file for your solution? Please add <IncludeTestAssembly>False</IncludeTestAssembly> and try to run it. https://github.com/microsoft/codecoverage/blob/main/docs/configuration.md
