Simultanious local Auto/tab-completion #192
Comments
@AlexanderEvans Thanks for the feedback! Which tool were you encountering this behavior on? |
I experienced it on the current version of visual studio community. I was hosting a session with a guest who also had visual studio. I do not know what version the guest had. I will inquire tonight.

Thanks for taking the time to file this issue to submit this request. Unfortunately, we’re not able to prioritize this feature over the other current areas of focus on the team. We understand that this may be disappointing. We appreciate your input and comments on this issue till now. |

Currently, when only one user types in a shared session the tab-completion for classes, keywords, etc... works as expected, BUT if your partner starts typing while you are trying to use the feature the window disappears until you start typing again. This really needs to be fixed. It's not a huge issue if both programmers are working on exactly the same thing, but when you want to be working simultaneously on two related functions in a single class it is agonizing to "take turns" to complete work. And I imaging the issue becomes more problematic the more users you have, though I was only able to test this with one guest. Please fix this.
