What

Add a language-agnostic design review skill for evaluating and creating frontend interfaces.

Structure

  • .github/skills/frontend-design-review/SKILL.md — Core skill (138 lines, under 500 limit)
  • references/review-output-format.md — Full review template
  • references/review-type-modifiers.md — PR, Creative, Design, Accessibility modifiers
  • references/quick-checklist.md — Pre-approval checklist
  • references/pattern-examples.md — Good/bad examples
  • README.md — Updated Core section and skill counts

Covers

  • Design system compliance — Figma specs, design tokens, component verification
  • Three quality pillars — Frictionless insight-to-action, Quality Craft, Trustworthy Building
  • Creative frontend aesthetics — Avoiding generic AI patterns, distinctive typography, intentional motion
  • Accessibility — WCAG 2.1 grading (Grade C minimum, Grade B ideal)
  • Review output format — Structured template with pillar assessment and design critique

Follows repo conventions

  • YAML frontmatter with USE FOR: / DO NOT USE FOR: trigger phrases
  • References split out for progressive disclosure
  • Added to Core section (language-agnostic)

Note: This is a design/UX skill, not an SDK skill, so acceptance criteria and test scenarios are not applicable.

Created by @Quirinevwm

Add a language-agnostic design review skill for evaluating and creating
frontend interfaces. Covers design system compliance, three quality pillars
(frictionless, quality craft, trustworthy), accessibility, and creative
frontend aesthetics that avoid generic AI patterns.

Structure follows repo conventions:
- SKILL.md with trigger phrases in description (USE FOR / DO NOT USE FOR)
- References split into review-output-format, review-type-modifiers,
  quick-checklist, and pattern-examples
- README updated with Core section entry and skill counts
