I want to set an external comparison tool (Beyond Compare) but the Advanced settings section only shows an error:

An error occurred loading this property page

Visual Studio 17.0.2

Coming up on 3 years and still broken in version 17.11.3. This is the official extension for XML transforms in Microsoft's flagship IDE and should be getting proper support. @madskristensen this probably isn't your project, but would you mind tapping someone on the shoulder to come take a look?
