Interesting scratch projects

This doc serves as a quick link to some commits that have interesting scratch projects in them. We'll often write small programs for the sake of testing or experimenting, commit them, then revert them before committing back to main. This page acts as a link back to some of these abandoned scratch projects, for posterity. These commits are possibly very old. The code here is provided with no guarantees.
