ill formed or partial test method collapses Test Explorer tree

Testing #17039

As you start typing a new test, the Test Explorer tree collapses with a "Unittest Discovery Error" and you lose the tree expansion state.

This will be annoying if you have a large test suite and have navigated to a specific test in the Test Explorer.
