Details of the investigation:

  1. Client option can be obtained via API from LS extensions.
  2. Client options may contain client-side middle ware set.
  3. We can wrap that middle ware with ours that provides essential telemetry that we track.

This was a spike (investigation) into handling client options and middle ware, there are no code changes from this.
