Remove mention of defunct alternatives #31

It's good of you to mention alternatives, but neither of them works now, so it doesn't actually help users; perhaps you can remove the mentions from README.md?

I refer to this sentence:

If you don't like this plugin, I recommend trying out microblog-purple or pidgin-twitter (I am not affiliated with either)

Cleaned up README, fix for mikeage#31

Changed some formatting to make it easier to read, moved update about development stalling further up page, removed defunct alternative plugin links, removed changelog and added line that references the Changelog file.
