This parameter wasn't available in API version 2013-09-09, so I updated to 2014-10-31. I could not find any incompatible changes, but all the test examples were updated for good measure.

With this parameter supported, general purpose SSD storage types can be provisioned.

No functional changes were necessary, but all the test examples were
updated to the latest from the AWS documentation for good measure.
This allows DB instances to be created with the "gp2" (general purpose
SSD) storage type.
