Enhancement - Weblink insert resource button

I have a managermanger widget I created years ago:

I use it on every site I set up:

It gives an easy way to set the weblink to a website resource... uploaded PDF for example. I could add it to the managermanager plugins or is it even standard enough to add to the core?

... just struggling to make the weblink input field 100% - 'insert' button width!

What are anyone's thoughts regarding keeping it as a managermanager plugin vs baking it into the core?

I think "baking" makes absolutely sense.
