Notification not working on Mac Os

Im on MacOs 14.5, i don't get desktop notifications, only the sound is working.
I am using ghostty

@balazshevesi This is a known issue with node-notifier on macOS. The plugin uses a bundled terminal-notifier binary, which may not have the proper permissions on your system.

Try these steps:

1. Install terminal-notifier via Homebrew:
   brew install terminal-notifier
2. Test if it works directly:
   terminal-notifier -title "Test" -message "Hello"
3. If step 2 works but the plugin still doesn't notify:
   • Check System Settings > Notifications
   • Make sure both Ghostty and terminal-notifier have notifications enabled (Banners or Alerts)
4. Update the plugin to v0.1.6:
   rm -rf ~/.cache/opencode
   Then restart OpenCode.

Let me know if any of these steps help!

Installing terminal-notifier did the trick for me. The only issue I have now is that I only get an audio notification from within OpenCode. The Banner doesn't work. The banner does show when I run terminal-notifier -title "Test" -message "Hello". But I see that 0.1.8 might fix this?

Im in the same boat as @flatpackfan
Running terminal-notifier -title "Test" -message "Hello" directly in the terminal works as expected. But i don't get a banner from opencode.

v0.1.9 is out with the fix. Update by clearing the cache and restarting:

rm -rf ~/.cache/opencode/node_modules/@mohak34/opencode-notifier

I appreciate the effort you guys are putting in.

It's still does not seem to work though. I tried specifying @mohak34/opencode-notifier@latest and @mohak34/opencode-notifier@0.1.9 and i clearing the cache between the attempts.

I also tried setting the version to something that doesn't exist (just to check if opencode actually is using the correct config), and oc refused to open.

The sound is still working and running terminal-notifier -title "Test" -message "Hello" directly also works.

Could you check the latest version v0.1.10 or @mohak34/opencode-notifier@latest and removing the cache once and checking if this solves the issue ?

@balazshevesi can you tell me what you've done? I've updated to v.0.1.10, but I still don't see the banner, just getting the sound. I've removed the cache and restarted opencode. I'm using iTerm as my terminal.
