This diagnostic, also known as hfevapds, has been assigned to the MOM6 diagnostic "heat_content_massout". But this assignment should be reconsidered at which point we have access in MOM6 separately to the evaporation and melting/forming sea ice. Presently we combine lprec and melt/form, which makes it tough to do a proper accounting of the heat content of mass both entering and leaving the ocean.
