Post Delivery Midterm
Midyear Developments
Recent developments are published which focus on feature enhancements of the developer edition.
Feature Additions
This hardware revision provides a tap detection circuit based on BMA accelerometer, two different (one mechanical and one ambient light logical) intrusion detection circuits, secure element refinements, FPC connection for flexible display replacements, removable SD media (partial implementation), multipower supply (from three sources), capacitive touch support with LED backlight, and runtime (via jumpers) MCU architecture changing for low powered STM32L support.
Existing Corrections
Corrections (#29) were made (in Breakneck and soon Monezor) to the CC lines of USB type C power circuitry, which allow for proper negotiation as a upstream facing port peripheral device to consume power from the downstream host. Previously, the lines in question failed to signal identification as a power sink and some power providing hosts failed.
Board Shape
Fiducials are placed to allow for automated assembly, and notches are made to support a future enclosure.
