"x" button behavior in Search aliases bar could be improved

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to https://stage.fxprivaterelay.nonprod.cloudops.mozgcp.net and log in using an existing account.
2. Generate a few aliases.
3. Click in the Search aliases bar.
4. Click the "x" button.

Actual result:
The Search aliases placeholder text is displayed when you click the button and then disappears.

Expected result:
The Search aliases placeholder text remains displayed and the number of aliases and "x" button disappear like when you click outside the search field.
