While in the area, allow passing parameters to `pytest`, for example to specify a single test file.

When building the doc with a basic Sphinx (4.5.0) project, with the sphinx-js (3.1.2) extension, running
sphinx-buildprint anImportError: cannot import name 'soft_unicode' from 'markupsafe'.Jinja2 is now deprecated, and it is advised to upgrade:
