I come from using Jyers firmware just fine (actually just finish print) and I got the BLT 4.2.2 version of this firmware but when I turn on my v2 with the SD in... the screen gets stuck on the CREALITY logo.. I can rollback to Jyers by loading the jyer's bin on the SD.. that loads fine but the latest version of this firmware for BL touch and 422 board (Ender3V2-422-BLTUBL-MPC-20230312.bin) cant load.. tried a few times.. formatted the card several times.. renamed the bin file to multiple names (even just firmware.bin) but still the same.. is just me? |

Does this latest version have linear advance and input shaping. I installed it and can’t get a good k value for LA. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. |

I am using a pre-compiled version for now (until the December source code is updated). For my Ender 3 v2, the homing speed for Z is so fast that the nozzle hits the glass. Whereas it never used to hit the glass with a slower Z-Home speed. I don't understand this, since 1) the position of my limit switch did not change when I updated to mriscoc firmware. And 2) I cannot imagine that there is a lot of inertial in Z. Maybe hitting the glass is due to inherent sloppiness/hysteresis in a mechanical switch? And so slower is better? Whatever, I will try to compile my own version with custom values someday. |

The March firmware runs perfectly on my Ender 3 V2 machine, just like the previous ones, but unfortunately still no thumbnail preview on my DACAI screen and I updated the display as well. Sorry for my bad English. |

I recently added the SKR Mini e3 V3 for my Ender 3 V2. Says to use an adapter since the pinouts are different. I got a new ribbon cable that's specific for the SKR Mini to the Ender 3 V2 display screen. Once downloaded firmware to flash printer, nothing happened. screen was still off. Not even a hint of light on the screen. So now I'm watching this guy on youtube trying to compile this firmware using this custom cable. Now, on VS Code, what should i put for the motherboard. Delete what's there in default and add SKR MINI e3 V3? Hopefully this file will work. Thanks |

How do I re-enable the auto cooldown after a print is finished? my ender 3 v2 keeps my bed heated until I manually turn it off after a print |

Hi, So I have SKR Mini E3 v3.0.1, is it possible at all to use this firmware? I have tried flashing it with edited config file to reflect my board (and changing the LCD_SERIAL_PORT condition to include BTT_SKR_MINI_E3_V3_0_1), but the screen just freezes after the boot screen. Any ideas? |

For what it's worth, I've loaded this onto my Ender 3 V2 with the
Currently running my first test print after a manual mesh, so far so good. |

There isn't a precompiled firmware for the manual mesh version with Sprite

I have an Ender 3 S1 PRO, with the (lousy) touchscreen interface. The statement that "A DWIN or DACAI color screen with encoder knob. Touch or legacy monocrome screens are not supported," seems to exclude my printer from using this firmware. Can you clarify or confirm? I upgraded the display firmware using Creality's latest a couple of weeks ago. Would that be a problem, assuming the touchscreen is actually supported otherwise? |

Hi mriscoc......sorry if this is a bit simple. Give me computers and I can do anything but i really struggle to compile my own firmware for some reason. I have a stock standard E3V2 with CRTouch and dual z rod. Its the 4.2.2 RCT6 and CRTouch. I currently do a ABL 5 x 5 probe each time I print (I dont mind it doing a probe on each print). If I were to flash it with your UBL Ender3V2-422-BLTUBL-MPC-20230312.bin and change the Gcode from G29 to G29 P1 would it still do a 5 x 5 bed probe before each print if I set your software to probing points of 5 ??????? Also one other quick question please. If I use the firmware retraction, does this override the cura gcode created slicer retraction setting or would it conflict with one another. Many regards Bruce from NZ |

Further to my comment above, it looks like i want all the features of the Ender3V2-422-BLTUBL-MPC-20230312.bin but only change the configuration for it to do BLT ABL bi-linear. I note rather than recompiling the whole firmware, you can make a file to put onto sd card that would customise just the part you want. Is anybody able to help me out to make a customisable file to change it from UBL to ABL bi-linear and just putting it onto sdcard to put into the printer. I would really appreciate the help someone could offer. |

Thank you @dfinberg I was worried changing to UBL would confuse things for me but if it stays pretty much the same by changing the gcode and that the printer will do a 5 x 5 probe before each print then that will be great. I see in the printer setup there is firmware retraction. Do you know if this is activated does it override the slicer retraction settings and therefore they wont conflict with one another ???? Again thank you for you answer above |

Hey, This project looks really interesting. Do you have any plans to include Creality touchscreen support? |

Hello, I am currently using FW: I have an Ender 3 V2, 4.2.2 board with an STM32F soc, and a BL touch I installed, everything is working good. Thanks for your dedication and hard work on this amazing firmware. |

Hello , thanks a lot for this update, I was suffering from the lake of the Z indicator in the official version, and also from the flactuating nozzle temperature. Just installed your update a few minutes ago and seems perfect, thanks again. |

Is there a way to install this from the source code download? I am not sure what files I am looking for. This is the version I currently have running on my S1 Pro and I just want a back up file incase anything happens. |

Boreal Spring 2023
What's new in this release
From Marlin 2.1.2
This firmware is based on Marlin, has been optimized and has enhancements for the Creality Ender 3 V2/S1 printer. This is an universal firmware that can be used in both RET6 and RCT6 STM32FX chips that have 256k or 512k Flash memory. The firmware and its wiki are not really intended for beginners but as a supplement to already existing guides.
How to install the firmware
Requirements
In order to use this firmware, your printer must meet the following requirements:
You can modify your printer to meet these requirements.
Versions
You can download the latest binaries from the assets at the bottom of
the release page.
To know if you have the last release go to the info page in the display of
your printer and compare the release build date with the name of the binary
file. The filename follows the convention:
Where YYYYMMDD indicates the date of the build. 422 refers to the mainboard
version 4.2.2, 423 refers to the mainboard version 4.2.3, and 427 is for the 4.2.7 mainboard version, if you got
a 4.3.1 board use the 422 version. SKRMINI version is currently for the
BTT SKR Mini E3 V3 board (needs a screen adapter).
For example, if you want a firmware for your Ender-3 V2 printer with a control
board version 4.2.2, CRTouch and support for UBL, you should download the file:
UBL versions
Binaries with UBL in their filename have support for Marlin Unified Bed Leveling, this system is similar to the bilinear leveling but with a few extra features to provide users with more control. There are multiple guides on the web about UBL, we recommend reading about it before using this new leveling system.
Model Predictive Temperature Control (MPC)
From this version MPC is being incorporated in all versions. MPC has proven to be a better algorithm for keeping the nozzle temperature stable, and is also very useful for high power heaters.
